Annual Competition Rules
- The Reg Thurlow Cup is based on a set subject usually sport or action. The format alternates between prints and projected images each year. See current programme.
- The Millennium Cup (formerly called Trophy) is for a projected image and has a different set subject each year. See current programme.
- The Byham Cup (formerly called The Jack Byham Cup) has a set subject as a set of four projected images showing a varied set of photographic skills.
- The Claude Weeks Cup has a set subject as a People Portrait. The format alternates between mono and colour prints and projected images each year. See current programme.
- The Presidents Cup is for a monochrome print of any subject.
- The Howard Award (formerly called The Howard Trophy) is for a colour print of any subject.
- The Felixstowe Town Council Challenge Trophy format alternates between prints and projected images each year. It has a set subject as a panel of six images of Felixstowe and its Environs. See current programme.
- The Stephen Cook Digital Image Trophy is for creative projected images.
- The Digital Audio Visual Trophy is for audio-visual presentations. There is no set subject. See Digital Audio-Visual Rules for more information.
- Projected images for annual competitions may be monochrome or colour.
- Once entered in an FPS Annual Competition, an image cannot be entered in any other FPS Annual Competition but may be entered in a monthly competition.
